Pop singer Yasar began his music career in highschool playing the guitar. After highschool his interst in poetry lead him to writing songs. He released his first album “Divane” (The Demented) in 1996 with which he received The Golden Record award. His second album “Esirinim” (The Captivated) was released in 1998. In 2000 his third album “Masal” (The Fairy Tale) was released as the last album of a trilogy. In 2003 he made a nostalgic best of album, “Sevdigim Sarkilar” (The Songs I Like) as a new year gift for his fans.
He had his poetry book published in 2003. His fourth album “Hatirla” (Remember) was released in 2005 followed by the fifth album “Sevda Sinemalarda” (Love at Movie Theaters).
